Each year the Halki International Seminars attract the interest and support of numerous Greek and foreign institutions. Since their establishment in 1989, the long list of these institutions has included, among others, the Bertelsmann Foundation, the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, the Dodecanese Prefecture, the European Union Institute for Security Studies, the Friedrich Ebert Foundation, the General Secretariat for Research and Technology, the General Secretariat for Youth, the German Marshall Fund of the US, Hellenic Aid - Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of the Aegean, the NATO Public Diplomacy Division, the Municipality of Rhodes, members of the Open Society Institute & Soros Foundations Network (covering the travel costs of participants from Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe), the Rockefeller Foundation, the Rodos Palace hotel, the South Aegean Region, the Volkswagen Foundation, etc.
